Location: Jersey City, NJ 07302

Duration: Fulltime/ Permanent/ Direct Hire

Work Schedule: Hybrid - 3 days onsite/2 days remote per week


Main Skills: Unqork platform, low-code application development, business process modeling, integrations, API development, AWS Cloud, and DevOps.


Job Description:

The Software Engineer will play a key role in designing, configuring, and maintaining applications on the Unqork low-code platform to meet business needs. The candidate will focus on delivering robust, scalable, and cost-effective solutions while collaborating across teams to support organizational goals.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Design, configure, and implement business solutions using the Unqork low-code platform.
  • Develop workflows, data models, and integrations with third-party systems using Unqork.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and team members to understand requirements and translate them into Unqork-based solutions.
  • Maintain existing systems and applications, ensuring they meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Work within a DevOps framework to deploy and monitor applications in production.
  • Collaborate across teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancements.
  • Provide troubleshooting, user support, and ongoing maintenance for Unqork applications.


Skills and Experience

  • 3+ years of experience working with low-code/no-code platforms (e.g., Unqork, Mendix, Appian, or Pega).
  • Strong understanding of application design principles in low-code environments.
  • Experience with API development and integration (REST and SOAP).
  • Basic knowledge of cloud platforms like AWS, including DevOps methodologies and tools.
  • Familiarity with system monitoring, secure coding practices, and performance optimization.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on implementing business solutions.
  • Knowledge of database concepts and data modeling (relational and non-relational).
  • Basic programming knowledge is a plus (e.g., JavaScript or Python).
  • Unqork certifications or experience with Unqork configuration tools is a significant advantage.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with a user-focused mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field is preferred.


Skills Required:

  • Familiarity with legacy application migration to low-code platforms.
  • Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Knowledge of system architecture and integrations in enterprise environments.
  • Configuring and deploying solutions using the Unqork platform.
  • API and Integration Skills: Integration with other systems through platform-native tools.
  • Cloud integration, system performance, and security.
