Job Summary


We seek a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Plumbing Project Manager to support large-scale commercial plumbing projects in Los Angeles, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience managing project planning, estimating, scheduling, and execution in the commercial mechanical construction industry. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow within the plumbing and mechanical construction sector, working alongside experienced project managers.


Key Responsibilities


  • Assist in managing the planning, scheduling, and execution phases of commercial plumbing projects, ensuring adherence to scope, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with senior project managers to prepare cost estimates, manage procurement, and track material usage to maximize project efficiency.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including field supervisors, engineers, and procurement, to ensure seamless communication and project flow.
  • Monitor project progress using software tools such as Bluebeam, MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid, regularly updating senior management and clients.
  • Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards, working closely with field teams to maintain high performance.


Qualifications


  • 3+ years of experience in a support or assistant role within commercial plumbing or mechanical construction project management.
  • Proficiency in Bluebeam, MS Project, and Trimble AutoBid for adequate project documentation, scheduling, and estimation.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced construction environment.
  • Familiarity with local building codes and plumbing regulations specific to the Los Angeles area.
  • Local and stable work history, demonstrating a commitment to the regional construction industry.
