Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour (DOE)

Location: Phoenix, AZ 85040 (Hybrid – 3 days per week in the office)


Position Summary:

As a Solution Analyst - Business Analyst, you will play a key role in solving business problems and contributing to the planning, documentation, and implementation of small project teams. You’ll be working with a variety of stakeholders to define solutions, document system requirements, and support the adoption of solutions. This role requires someone who is proactive in problem-solving, communicating clearly with stakeholders, and working independently to define project goals. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide training and guidance to end users.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Define Project Solutions and Timelines – Collaborate with project teams to define system solutions, analyze efforts, and ensure project timelines and deliverables are met. Document process maps and system designs for stakeholder communication (40% of the time).
  • Analyze Business and Systems Needs – Work closely with stakeholders to analyze functional and technical requirements. Align proposed solutions with the broader organizational strategy (40%).
  • Process Improvement – Collaborate with internal and external teams to identify process improvements. Work with process owners to align operations with strategic plans (15%).
  • Additional Duties – Perform other related tasks as assigned (5%).


Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree, OR
  • Associate’s degree + 5 years of experience in technical solution implementations, OR
  • High School diploma + 5 years of experience in technical solution implementations.


Skills and Abilities:

Communication:

  • Ability to create communication plans, status reports, and RACI charts.
  • Explain project goals and requirements clearly to stakeholders.
  • Serve as a trusted technical advisor during the early stages of business initiatives.

Process Analysis:

  • Skilled in deconstructing business processes into system workflows and decision trees.
  • Translate business processes into system requirements.
  • Lead cross-functional sessions to identify gaps and define solutions.

Technology Understanding:

  • Familiarity with business technology platforms and their alignment with business solutions.
  • Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM) and system configurations.

Implementation:

  • Support the implementation of minor IAM projects.
  • Provide guidance and training to end users on system configurations and best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Internship or experience in applicable business processes, IT services, or technology solutions.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft 365 (O365) suite (SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, etc.).
  • Experience with Active Directory (AD) and Azure Active Directory.
  • Understanding of IAM concepts and best practices.
  • Experience in Agile project management and working with cross-functional teams (developers, architects, business customers).
  • Proficiency in Visio and project management tools (MS Project, Planner, DevOps).
  • Strong skills in business process analysis and data manipulation.
