Russell Tobin's client, a world's leading music company, is hiring a Production Manager in Beverly Hills, CA.


Employment Type: Contract

Location: Hybrid Beverly Hill, CA 90210

Pay rate: $25 - $29.45 /hour


Responsibilities:

  • Receive and review metadata and assets delivered by clients prior to submission into supply chain systems.
  • Directly create and submit releases into supply chain systems, ensuring standards for metadata and assets are met.
  • Master style guides and delivery systems, ensuring compliance with DSP requirements.
  • Meet lead-time requirements in line with project timelines.
  • Anticipate technical and operational challenges, working with clients and internal teams to resolve risks.
  • Communicate regularly within the production team and with clients, updating on project status and resolving issues.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop processes that improve results, efficiency, and client relations.
  • Manage client and internal expectations regarding system capabilities, feasibility of requests, and operating procedures.
  • Advise on where special exceptions can be made for maximum impact and minimal risk.
  • Work alongside supply chain and operations teams to address any critical technical issues.
  • Manage physical planning, production, and timelines, working closely with internal teams and clients.
  • Oversee delivery of physical release elements to manufacturing vendors.
  • Act as an expert stakeholder in ongoing system development and process improvements.
  • Work with the catalog migration team on incoming artist catalogs.
  • Provide backup coverage for team members and contribute to special projects and broader business initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of DSP, metadata, and administrative operations.
  • Excellent understanding of process improvement, scheduling, supply chain, and operations.
  • Product planning expertise.
  • Proficiency in English (Read, Write, Speak).

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
