Job Title: Strategic Brand Manager

Location: Charlotte, NC (In-office, 4-5 days a week)


Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic, forward-thinking, and Strategic Marketing Professional who can truly elevate our brand presence and drive revenue. If you are a typical, safe marketer with no edge or a desire to play it safe, this role is not for you. We are looking for someone who will take creative risks and embrace challenges. The ideal candidate must be a builder—someone with the initiative to make an impact, generate innovative strategies, and consistently deliver results. This is not the role for someone looking to coast through the next few years but for a true disruptor who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to redefine what marketing can accomplish in our industry.


Key Responsibilities:

Brand Strategy & Development:

  • Build and execute creative brand strategies that significantly increase our local, regional, and national presence, especially targeting C-suite decision-makers.
  • Lead initiatives to elevate the brand's voice in a traditionally bland industry, creating a fresh, bold image that resonates with key stakeholders and stands out from competitors.

Revenue Generation through Marketing:

  • Leverage expertise to create and implement marketing campaigns that are directly tied to revenue generation. You’ll be expected to present results, not just ideas, with a focus on tangible outcomes.
  • Develop targeted marketing strategies that drive business growth and increase client engagement, particularly through the use of LinkedIn and other digital platforms.

LinkedIn & Social Media Mastery:

  • Lead content creation efforts specifically for LinkedIn, ensuring our presence is strategic, innovative, and revenue-driven. This includes developing engaging content, building relationships, and growing brand awareness among C-suite executives.
  • Create and manage short-form content (e.g., videos, podcasts) that supports our marketing efforts and showcases our thought leadership.

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) & Digital Marketing:

  • Implement and optimize SEO strategies to ensure our content ranks high and is visible to key decision-makers.
  • Utilize SEO best practices in all digital content to drive organic traffic and measurable results.

Content Creation:

  • Develop and manage the production of high-impact marketing content, including blogs, case studies, videos, podcasts, and social media campaigns.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and continuously test new approaches to content and messaging to ensure we remain innovative and impactful.

Leadership & Presentation Skills:

  • Present your ideas, strategies, and results to senior leadership with confidence and clarity, focusing on measurable impact rather than fluff or vague marketing talk.
  • Be a strategic advisor to leadership, demonstrating how marketing initiatives align with business goals and contribute to long-term growth.


Requirements:

Proven Experience:

  • A track record of taking creative, professional risks in marketing—whether through bold campaigns, innovative branding, or untraditional approaches to driving growth. You have a history of thinking outside the box and learning from your experiences.

Branding Expertise:

  • Demonstrated success in building and growing brands, with a focus on strategy development, brand messaging, and increasing awareness and engagement.

Digital Marketing Savvy:

  • Extensive experience in LinkedIn marketing (non-negotiable), including content creation and engagement strategies, SEO, video production, and podcasting. You know how to turn digital presence into real revenue.

Results-Oriented Mindset:

  • You’ll be measured on the tangible results you bring. Be prepared to showcase past achievements in driving revenue and growing brand presence. Creativity and disruption are great, but they must translate into bottom-line impact.

Self-Starter & Builder:

  • This role requires someone who can take initiative, develop strategies, and execute them without needing constant direction. If you need someone to tell you what to do every day, this isn’t the role for you.

Presentation & Communication Skills:

  • You’ll need to regularly present to our leadership team. Strong public speaking and storytelling skills are essential, as you will need to explain your strategies clearly, justify your decisions with data, and present results confidently.

Entrepreneurial Attitude:
