A client of insight global is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Import Coordinator to join their team in Inglewood, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience in import coordination and a solid understanding of import documentation and regulatory compliance. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate with truckers, airlines, foreign agents, freight forwarders, and Customs brokers to ensure smooth import operations. Prepare and manage import documentation with high accuracy. Provide quotes to customers and overseas agents. Maintain strong customer service communication skills to address inquiries and resolve issues. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Work efficiently under pressure to meet deadlines.


Compensation: $52,000 to $58,000. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.


REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

2-5+ years of Import/Export experience

Working knowledge of import documentation

Experience quoting customers, and overseas agents.

Regulatory compliance experience High accuracy in the processing data
