Job Description:
- The Senior Verification Test Engineer is responsible for planning, developing, and execution of automated and manual test scripts in the software engineering department.
- You will use your strong technical background to work with product management and engineering to define test strategies, organize testing processes, and optimize system level testing through creative and comprehensive test methods.
- Apply analytical skills and independent judgement in resolving software issues in coordination with software engineers.
This position is part of the Software Verification team and will be in Sunnyvale, CA - On Site. - Our Software Engineering team is on a quest to innovation join us and put your ideas to work.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Work closely with software development team to understand product requirements and to create corresponding test plan, test designs\test protocols, and build test strategies for the project.
- Design and develop scalable test system solutions with internal tools and product requirements.
- Responsible for solving issues on complex test and automation systems Design, develop and execute functional test cases, according to standard operating procedures.
- Responsible for conducting automated and manual tests to ensure the software created by developers fits its purpose.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Programming skills and experience with programming languages and scripting languages (Java, JavaScript, Appium, Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework).
- Experience with writing test scripts using web service protocols such as REST, HTTP, XML, and JSON.
Working knowledge of SQL to query transactional databases required. - Experience in executing and developing automated test suites for performance Testing.
Physical requirements/abilities:
- Able to work in an office environment
- Additional Job Description Second Language PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS (optional):
- Experience in Medical device industry is a plus.
- Experience with Accessibility, API and/or Performance testing.
- Experience building automation frameworks and/or test infrastructure from scratch, with writing and running automation scripts and summarizing results in the context of the system.
