BG Studio International is an award-winning International Design firm based in NYC specializing in luxury boutique interiors. The firm designs and manages largescale high-end hospitality and multifamily residential projects within the tri-state area. The firm is also extremely active in the cruise ship industry.

We are currently seeking a full-time Senior Interior Architectural Designer with 10+ years minimum experience in hospitality and muti-family residential design. Applicant should have a 4 or 5 year Bachelor Degree in Architecture and have experience in managing interior architecture projects and developing design concepts for projects. We are looking for a creative individual who can quickly grasp office culture and procedures to become a productive member of the office. The position entails working hands-on with graphic programs and documentation as well as supervising other team members who are doing the same.


Requirements:


  • Be able to develop design concepts for assigned projects, incorporating all requirements within a team working environment
  • High proficiency in REVIT, AUTOCAD, Photo Shop and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
  • Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing
  • Effective communication with clients and project consultants.
  • Proficiency in all phases of project work including preparation of conceptual, schematic, design development, and construction documents and supporting specifications.
  • Experience with Construction Administration activities.
  • Proficiency in interior architecture documentation including but not limited to millwork drawings and architectural detailing.
  • Knowledge of interior finishes and lighting.
  • Provide guidance and training to other team members that will be under your purview as required.
