Maintenance Technician
Location: Morganton NC
Hourly Rate: $35-$45/hr
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. The Maintenance Technician will work closely with production teams to address maintenance issues and implement preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance on manufacturing equipment to ensure optimal operation.
  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance activities in accordance with TPM practices.
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with production teams to identify equipment issues and resolve them promptly.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards during all maintenance activities.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
  • Experience with PET, blow mold equipment, and industrial maintenance best practices.
  • Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
