Job Title: NetSuite Business Systems Analyst

Position Summary:

The NetSuite Business Systems Analyst is responsible for analyzing business requirements and designing solutions to meet them, particularly within the NetSuite ecosystem. This role involves supporting and maintaining key applications, including NetSuite, OpenAir, ZoneBilling, and related ERP systems. The Analyst will also ensure seamless integration, functionality, and performance of these applications across internal business processes.


Skills and Qualifications

  • Must have 5–7+ years working with NetSuite ERP and OpenAir.
  • Familiarity with ZoneBilling and Power BI is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in data integrations between Salesforce and NetSuite using middleware (e.g., Celigo, Boomi, or Workato).


Key Responsibilities:

  • System Management and Optimization:
  • Manage, maintain, and optimize the performance of NetSuite, OpenAir, ZoneBilling, and related ERP systems to support financial operations and other internal functions.
  • ERP Support and Enhancement:
  • Support users by troubleshooting issues, creating scripts, developing workflows, managing searches, testing new features, and integrating data for ERP applications. Collaborate on ERP application customizations to streamline business processes.
  • Testing and Validation:
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system integrations, user interfaces, upgrades, and overall system performance. Ensure smooth deployment of updates and feature enhancements.
  • Vendor and Stakeholder Management:
  • Act as a liaison with vendors to resolve technical, licensing, and operational issues. Ensure effective use of applications by maintaining productive relationships with service providers.
  • Requirements Analysis and Documentation:
  • Facilitate dialogue with business users to identify and document requirements, assess gaps, and drive improvements in processes or systems. Develop change control documentation for production environments.
  • Business and IT Collaboration:
  • Support both business and IT teams by facilitating communication and technical implementation of ERP initiatives, ensuring alignment and efficient execution.
  • Workflow and Security Maintenance:
  • Maintain and update approval workflows and user security settings in accordance with company policies and standards.


Technical Proficiency:

  • Strong command of NetSuite modules (e.g., fixed assets, contracts, general ledger, inventory, advanced revenue recognition, multi-currency, and amortization templates).
  • Proficiency in SuiteScripting, report creation, saved search, and other NetSuite customization capabilities.
  • Ability to update and maintain data ecosystem schematics.


Business Process Knowledge:

  • Solid understanding of core global financial processes (procure to pay, order to cash, financial close, intercompany transactions, and multi-company environments).
  • Experience with Sales Operations processes (e.g., lead management and sales forecasting).


Other Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics.
  • Highly proactive, with a strong track record of independently owning and delivering technology projects.
