Job Description

Expert understanding of specialized practice area, broad knowledge of multiple disciplines, and a deep understanding of the overall enterprise and competitive environment. Partners in the development of enterprise objectives achieving goals in creative and effective ways. Has distinct, independent ownership of a function or specialization. Proactively identifies significant and unique issues requiring analysis of various factors and intangibles. Regularly applies advanced logic to make highly complex judgments with a noticeable impact on business results. Creates and is responsible for budgets based on practice area and departmental needs and strategy. Has thorough knowledge across multiple areas and business lines and is viewed as an advisor to Executive Leadership. May manage multiple layers and serves as the senior-most individual contributor with highly unique and specialized expertise. Leads and directs short- and long-term department staffing needs and development. Has strategic relationships within the practice area, department, company, regulatory community, and the broader industry.

Basic Qualifications
  • Licensed by and in good standing with the appropriate state bar association or other appropriate state attorney licensing authority
Preferred Skills/Experience
  • 15 or more years of relevant experience
  • Thorough and current knowledge of laws and regulations impacting the subject matter and/or business line supported by the attorney
  • Strong analytical, organizational and communication skills
  • Strong commitment to client service
