We currently have an exciting career opportunity for a Family Office Manager to join the team in our Jupiter office.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees are expected to alternate time between both remote and office. YOUR ROLE. 

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Serve as the Engagement Manager on specific client accounts, taking responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, final deliverable development, and billing and collections.
  • Develop a detailed engagement work plan, illustrating budgets and schedules. Monitor project status against the work plan and communicate schedule adjustments to CohnReznick management.
  • Develop a professional relationship with the client. Gain the respect and confidence of the client by consistently demonstrating supreme customer service, quality work products, and professional integrity.
  • Serve as one of the point-of-contacts to the client. Ensure that the client is fully informed of engagement progress and logistics.
  • Gain the respect and confidence of the CohnReznick team through effective client management, timely and accurate communication, and clear and concise team direction.
  • Prepare timely and accurate bills for professional services rendered.
  • Assist staff with daily requests, questions and guidance.
  • Provide guidance and leadership to +20-person team.
  • Encourage a positive team atmosphere where collaboration is key.
  • Participate in business development to grow book of business.
  • Review client engagement staffing on a regular basis to ensure client expectations are being met.
  • Learn and be an ambassador of new firm-wide technology updates to keep the team informed.

YOUR EXPERIENCE. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Education: BS/BA in accounting is preferred – associate degree in accounting required. We would consider relevant work experience in lieu of education.
  • Minimum 5+ years in family office and accounting experience
  • Excellent analytical and technical skills
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to develop and maintain outstanding client relationships
  • Strong leadership, and mentoring skills, coupled with excellent written, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Computer expertise including knowledge of QuickBooks software and an understanding of the impact of technology
  • Strong research skills
  • Proven technical skills with MS Office applications such as Excel, Word, and Outlook; ProSystems or GoSystems, and CCH Engagament experience a plus
  • Solid organizational skills with a demonstrated ability to multi-task
