JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking a motivated individual with two to five years of institutional financial services or wealth

management experience to be part of our Client Service team, which is responsible for the day-to-day support,

portfolio administration, reporting and investment execution for our clients. S/he must be client focused, and

goal oriented in their effort to provide a high level of personalized service to clients. The candidate will be the

point person resolving questions, processing client requests, and supporting client’s family members,

accountants and family offices with request and issue resolution. The candidate will assist the team in

interfacing internally with Operations and Investment departments, and with our custodians to follow through on

documents, transactions, and new account questions.


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Onboard new clients by opening new accounts and coordinating with third parties the transfer of assets to custodian bank. Assist in preparation of account opening documentation and account profiles, obtain required approvals, and gather legal documents and tax information.
  • Facilitate money movements and wire transfers for client accounts
  • Learn and utilize the firm’s third-party client reporting system to view portfolio information, asset allocation and transactions, and generate reports for internal use and for clients
  • Assist with preparation of client presentation packages and reporting on client accounts
  • Collaborate with the client service team on ad hoc requests and client service projects, including new client onboarding
  • Assist the team with tax information research, K-1 tracking and distribution to clients and/or their accountants
  • Interface with the investment team regarding asset allocation and performance
  • Proactively manage client accounts and develop processes and enhancements for current tasks


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree, with a record of academic achievement
  • Two to four years of related client service experience working in a multi-family office, investment advisory firm or institutional investment environment
  • Knowledge of Addepar preferred but not required
  • Client service experience working with ultra-high net worth clients, and their advisors and accountants
  • Experience with client administration and portfolio management related to new accounts, wires, securities trades and alternative investment subscriptions.
  • Understanding of portfolio construction along with private equity, real estate and hedge fund investment knowledge

  • Strong quantitative, analytical and research skills
  • Able to work independently in a professional, team-oriented environment
  • Outstanding client service and organizational skills with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail including multitasking and logistics
  • Excellent communication skills; must be able to communicate with internal and external parties in a professional, comprehensive, and gracious manner
  • Familiarity with various investment instruments, portfolio management and client relationship management
  • Exceptional business writing skills
  • Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel proficiency
