Overview:

As a Senior Software Architect, you will define and oversee the system architecture for the product line across all customer verticals. This role involves providing subject matter expertise, guiding system implementation, and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to design and price customer-specific solutions. You will play a strategic role in aligning technology with business objectives and driving innovation.


Responsibilities:



  • Collaborate with the product requirements team to create comprehensive software architecture documents.
  • Guide software engineering teams to implement and refine system architecture plans.
  • Advise senior management on strategic systems development and integrations to achieve business goals.
  • Analyze operations to develop and implement strategies for improvement.
  • Interpret and implement regulatory and business requirements with precision.
  • Assess proposed implementations for feasibility based on technology, resources, and market conditions.
  • Evaluate IT operations and recommend enhancements for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Contribute to enterprise objectives and budget preparation for IT functions.
  • Collaborate with managers to optimize operations affected by IT processes.
  • Advise on technology's impact on internal and external operations.
  • Facilitate alignment among stakeholders to maximize business performance.
  • Lead vision communication, goal-setting, tool provision, and successful project execution.

Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (TOGAF certification preferred).
  • 10+ years of experience designing and coding web-enabled applications in multi-tier environments.
  • 10+ years of experience providing technical direction to development teams.
  • Extensive knowledge of the software development process and corresponding technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with architecting enterprise-grade systems in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
  • Proficiency in integrating AWS services and enterprise applications.
  • Strong expertise in API integration (REST, SOAP, OAuth) and relational database design.
  • Experience designing or developing AI applications.
  • Solid understanding of frameworks like CMMI, SDLC, Agile, and DevOps processes.
  • Knowledge of coding best practices, including security and performance optimization.

  • Proficiency in technical writing and explaining technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and working in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Ability to learn new technologies and adapt to regular change requests.
  • Expertise in implementing IT integrations in midsized or large organizations.
  • Logical reasoning to evaluate solutions and identify strengths and weaknesses.

Preferred Skills:



  • Experience with AI and machine learning technologies.
  • Familiarity with robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Ability to design modular and scalable architectures.

Work Environment:



  • Deadline-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Willingness to work nights or weekends to meet project goals.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team, including data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to deliver high-quality architectural designs with minimal supervision.
