What you'll do: Some of the work that you will be doing to help us deliver on our mission is:

  1. Design, build, deliver, and own full lifecycle development software from inception to production.
  2. Demonstrate a firm grasp of the entire software development lifecycle.
  3. Drive complex changes involving multiple components.
  4. Deliver quality changes, including automated tests, metrics, and monitoring.
  5. Collaborate with team members to deliver features.
  6. Guide and review changes to product features in line with product roadmaps.
  7. Implement and maintain product features.
  8. Build components and processes that are regularly used by others.
  9. Build execution plans incorporating user data, observations, and market insight.
  10. Validate changes to ensure high-quality product releases.
  11. Work in a distributed system environment.
  12. Understand the business objectives behind the code.
  13. Understand system architecture fundamentals through self-directed learning.
  14. Participate in and lead projects with a high level of technical ambiguity.
  15. Contribute to the development of comprehensive success criteria.
  16. Lead others through example, mentorship, teaching.
  17. Participate in hiring activities.
  18. Use data to analyze and communicate the impact of your work on operational efficiency.

  1. You are comfortable working on an agile, distributed team spanning multiple time zones and continents.
  2. You are able to communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  3. You have a solid understanding of computer science and engineering fundamentals.
  4. You have experience working with distributed systems.
  5. You are proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: GraphQL, C#, Java, C++, SQL, React and familiar with search engine algorithms.
  6. You have some knowledge of software development code editors: Visual Studio, Rider, and version control systems such as GitLab.
  7. You have 7+ years of software development engineering experience.
  8. You have a Bachelor's/Master's level degree in computer science or a relevant engineering-related field or equivalent experience. Not everyone has the same level of access to opportunities. What is most important to us is what and how you can contribute, which is why our consideration is not limited by the level of education you have.
  9. You have additional nice-to-have experience in the following areas: database engines (Microsoft SQL Server, Postgres, Redis), building micro-services.
