Job Opportunity: Branch Manager – Chicago, IL
Are you an experienced leader with a passion for warehouse operations and driving commercial success? We are seeking a dynamic Branch Manager to oversee our logistics and warehousing operations in Chicago. About the Role:
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for the overall performance and strategic direction of our warehouse operations. You will lead a dedicated team, ensuring efficient operations while driving commercial growth and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety.
- Commercial Strategy: Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and profitability. Identify new business opportunities and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of warehouse staff and supervisors. Foster a positive and productive work environment.
- Process Improvement: Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives to optimize workflows and reduce costs.
- Customer Focus: Ensure the highest level of service by understanding client needs and delivering customized logistics solutions.
- Compliance and Safety: Maintain compliance with all company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years in warehouse management or logistics operations.
- Proven experience in a leadership role with a focus on both operations and commercial growth.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to identify and capitalize on commercial opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and MS Office Suite.
- Knowledge of safety standards and compliance requirements within a warehouse setting.
