Clinical Supply Chain, Supply Planner I - Contract - Cambridge, MA

Proclinical is seeking a Clinical Supply Chain Planner to support programs and protocols, focusing on packaging, labeling, shipment, and drug return logistics.

Primary Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will interact with internal and external customers and suppliers to achieve project objectives. This role involves system-related activities such as Interactive Response Technology (IRT) and forecasting, managing IMP distribution, and maintaining Clinical Supplies Documentation to ensure GMP compliance. This position will also monitor inventory levels and provide feedback regarding expiry and re-supply. Participation in developmental initiatives within the Clinical Supplies group may be required.

Skills & Requirements:

  • Proficient knowledge of Smartsheets and MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, Project).
  • Understanding of end-to-end clinical supply chain activities.
  • Experience with supply/demand forecasting systems (e.g., NSIDE, Bioclinica, 4G, Oracle) is a plus.
  • Experience with IRT systems is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of GxP is a plus.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to external environmental influences.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage complex challenges.

The Clinical Supply Chain, Supply Planner I's responsibilities will be:

  • Support program objectives, including protocol budget and monitoring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Strive to achieve cost-saving targets through system-related platforms such as IRT and forecasting/planning systems.
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with Clinical Operations, Global Planning, and vendors.
  • Manage and maintain IMP distribution and returns drug plans.
  • Monitor inventory levels and provide feedback to Program Leads and Clinical Supply Managers.
  • Participate in Clinical Supplies group developmental initiatives as needed.
