Java DeveloperResponsibilities:

Required Skills:
  • Bachelors degree in technical field, computer science preferred
  • 3+ years of experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Java, including:
    • RESTful services: Preferably Jersey, Spring Boot acceptable with recent Core Java J2SE experience
    • Core Java - J2SE, Kafka, JDBC, Axis2, JAMS, SOAP Services
  • Object-oriented (OO) methodologies and technologies
  • Git, GitHub, and change control concepts
  • JUnit and unit testing strategies
  • SQL and relational database concepts
  • Understanding of media types, XML, and JSON
  • IntelliJ and Gradle configuration
  • Kafka experience, including creating producers and consumers
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
  • Experience with Confluence, JIRA, and other collaboration technologies
  • Knowledge of network infrastructure technologies and LDAP
  • Understanding of Dynatrace and Splunk
  • Familiarity with WebSphere Liberty Server environment
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, with a talent for analyzing complex business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
  • Proven experience in defining, designing, coding, testing, and implementing efficient, quality programs.
Compensation: $100k - $130k
