Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Director of Technical Programs to lead our technical teams and manage complex programs across various government and commercial sectors. This role is pivotal in driving the successful execution of projects, ensuring technical excellence, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership & Management: Lead and mentor a team of technical professionals, ensuring alignment with Impyrian's strategic goals and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
  • Program Oversight: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple technical programs, ensuring they meet or exceed customer expectations, budgets, and timelines.
  • Technical Excellence: Provide technical direction and expertise to ensure the highest standards of quality and performance in program deliverables.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and ensuring our solutions effectively address their challenges.
  • Strategic Planning: Contribute to the strategic planning process, identifying new business opportunities and helping to shape the future direction of the company.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure program success.
  • Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of continuous improvement, implementing best practices and innovative solutions to enhance program performance.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a strong background in leading technical teams and managing complex technical programs.
  • Clearance: Must possess or be able to obtain a security clearance as required by the position.
