TotalCare Walk-In Clinic is looking for a full-time Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner for our El Monte location. We are a multi-specialty medical group that offers services in internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, urgent care, and medical aesthetics. We have a highly collaborative team of 25 providers spread across 8 locations.

We offer a supportive environment for both new grads and experienced providers to provide care to underserved communities around Southern California. Build a strong foundation in primary care/urgent care while gaining hands-on experience with common procedures. Our Medical Director hosts weekly provider meetings to provide feedback, discuss specific cases, and share the latest in clinical research findings. Our team of 6 MDs, each with 30+ years of experience, rotate across all of our offices, and provide clinical support in-person or via phone during all shifts.

Highlights:

  • Close MD mentorship
  • Work alongside other providers
  • Excellent support staff and team culture
  • Work three weekday shifts (8am-8pm) and one Saturday or Sunday shift (9am-5pm) every other weekend
  • No calls or clinical inbox/admin work (we have a separate team that takes care of incoming labs, refills, etc.)
  • Help a diverse patient panel, across all ages and socioeconomic status
  • Exposure to all insurances: Medi-Cal, Medicare, commercial (HMO & PPO), and uninsured
  • Gain experience in both primary care and urgent care

Due to our diverse patient population, candidates who are fluent in Spanish or Mandarin Chinese are preferred.
