an organized and a skilled multitasker, the soona inventory coordinator is a warehousing expert, tech-savvy hand who ensures all inventory coming in and out of soona are processed accurately and in a timely manner.

the part-time inventory coordinator provides support to studio creatives by processing all packages received and handling requests within inventory management. as the inventory coordinator you are responsible for managing package intakes, processing returns, storing packages, ensuring our warehouse is running efficiently, communicating with clients when necessary, and additional tasks as needed to support studio operations.

this is a part-time position located in Austin studio. this role will report to the senior inventory coordinator.

Requirements

an ideal candidate can:

  • process all intakes and returns for packages delivered to soona
  • ensure accurate tracking of package location while in transit within warehouse and studio
  • ensure client returns are shipped on time and damage free
  • review, maintain and optimize warehouse storage capacity
  • ensure studio and/or warehouse storage space is organized, accurate and tidy
  • maintain an accurate count of packages in the studio and/or warehouse
  • prep products/packages for the crew in advance for upcoming shoots
  • communicate any issues or challenges regarding inventory in advance to studio managers and customer support in time to solve or adjust the schedule
  • work with customer support team to answer client inventory questions and requests
  • communicate with clients for returns and damaged products
  • meet metrics on lost and damaged products
  • meet metrics on package location accuracy
  • adapt to changing processes to streamline inventory management
  • partake in pilot programs such as shooting products in white e-commerce format during intake of products
  • keep the package intake area organized and stocked with necessary supplies
  • assist studio crew with other tasks if needed from prop shopping to helping ship equipment for repair

has experience in:

  • 1+ years of inventory management
  • 1+ year of customer service
  • organized and systems oriented
  • verbal and written communication
  • google suite is a plus
  • working independently

additional requirements:

  • can lift up to 40 pounds
  • comfortable working in storage and studio settings
