  • The OTM Technical Business Analyst is responsible for the technical design, development, and implementation of Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) solutions to support business operations.
  • This role involves working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure the effective use of OTM to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:Requirements Gathering and Analysis:
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their transportation and logistics requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of business processes and workflows.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and functional designs.
  • OTM Solution Design and Development:
  • Design and develop OTM configurations, workflows, and custom solutions.
  • Implement and maintain OTM modules including Order Management, Shipment Management, Freight Payment, and others as needed.
  • Develop and configure OTM agents, screensets, and other related components.
System Integration:
  • Design and develop interfaces between OTM and other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, WMS).
  • Ensure seamless data flow and process integration between OTM and other systems.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the integrity and quality of OTM solutions.
  • Perform unit, system, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify and resolve defects and issues during testing phases.
Documentation and Training:
  • Prepare comprehensive technical documentation for OTM configurations, customizations, and integrations.
  • Provide training and support to end-users and other stakeholders on OTM functionalities and processes.
  • Develop user guides, training materials, and other documentation as needed.
  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for OTM solutions.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
  • Implement system enhancements and upgrades as required.
Project Management:
  • Manage and participate in OTM implementation and enhancement projects.
  • Coordinate with project teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Track project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Oracle Transportation Management (OTM).
  • Strong technical skills in OTM configuration, customization, and integration.
  • Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and other relevant programming languages.
  • Experience with XML, XSLT, and other data transformation technologies.
  • Solid understanding of transportation and logistics business processes.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Project management experience is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., OTM certification) are advantageous.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with other Oracle applications (e.g., Oracle E-Business Suite, Oracle Cloud).
  • Knowledge of transportation industry standards and regulations.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies.
