The job duties and responsibilities for the position include the following:

Record financial transactions

Reconcile bank accounts

Manage bank feeds

Handle accounts receivables and accounts payable

Match purchase orders with invoices

Monitor office expenses and tally and enter cash receipts

Prepare monthly financial statements, including cash flow, profit and loss statements and balance sheets

Calculate and pay monthly sales tax

Process weekly payroll

Maintain records in accounting and payroll

Ensure organization is following best practices in accounting

Budget creation and tracking

Skills that are critical to be successful in this position include:

An eye for detail

Professional use of discretion and handling of sensitive and confidential information

The ability to meet deadlines

The ability to communicate complex data in a clear way

Exceptional organization skills

The ability to prioritize projects

Excellent data entry skills

Must be proficient in QuickBooks Online, including online banking and credit card downloading and Microsoft Excel
