SUMMARY: We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team. In this position, you will play a key role in assisting the accounting department with data entry, managing office supplies/equipment, and assisting the leadership team with various administrative duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet all visitors and receive packages
- Open, sort, and distribute mail
- Scan important documents (such as invoices, rent increase letters, etc) received via mail to the appropriate electronic filing location and maintain an organized filing system
- Track cash/checks received via mail and reconcile this tracker to the deposit detail on a monthly basis
- Enter donation information into the online donation database
- Review the accuracy of all invoices entered into the Accounts Payable Automation System, including vendor, invoice number, date, amount, and memo
- Mail weekly checks to vendors
- Manage office supplies
- Maintain company calendar
- Order meeting food
- Take minutes for Board and Committee meetings
- Maintain all office equipment (e.g. copier) and support staff in the operation of equipment
- Assist with company functions and events
- Assist with/manage other administrative duties as deemed necessary
- Minimum of a high school diploma, General Educational Development (GED), or equivalent
- Past administrative experience or tenure in an office setting is a plus
- Must be computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Must demonstrate effective written and oral interpersonal skills with a professional demeanor
- Must demonstrate ability to be highly detailed and organized, and able to prioritize multiple duties and deadlines
- Ability to identify errors and solve problems and interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Discretion and confidentiality with sensitive information is crucial
- 100% on-site

North Coast Community Homes (NCCH) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization that provides quality housing and resources that support the physical, emotional, and social well-being of individuals with developmental disabilities and mental health challenges. NCCH currently oversees the operations of 200 homes and serves over 600 residents throughout five Northeast Ohio counties.
Working with County Boards of Developmental Disabilities and partner organizations, NCCH's signature service is providing options for accessibility renovations that offer enhanced independence for a resident.
