Tallahassee Primary Care Associates is looking for a full-time HR Assistant to work in our Human Resources Department.

Hours are 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. with some occasional overtime, Monday - Friday

Minimum Qualifications

  • 2 year Degree in Business, Management or related field
  • 1-3 years of administrative office experience
  • Years of experience may substitute for education requirement
  • Ability To Work Monday Friday, 8a-5p with some occasional overtime
  • Ability to articulate and communicate effectively in person, over the phone, and in e-mail
  • Proficient with Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to work well with others and under pressure
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Essential Functions of the Position

  1. Record-Keeping
    1. Ensures maintenance of personnel records, medical files and other employment related information
    2. Ensures I-9's are accurately completed
    3. Maintains all acknowledgements of policies and procedures
    4. Ensures personnel records are in compliance with labor laws and regulations
    5. Conducts daily filing/scanning and record-keeping of various documents
  2. Staffing
    1. Reviews applications received through the Applicant Tracking System
    2. Updates Applicant Tracking System as directed
    3. Assists in scheduling interviews
    4. Observe interviews and meetings conducted by the Human Resources Manager and the HR Generalist
    5. Follows all applicable HR laws
  3. Training
    1. Helps facilitate new hire orientation
    2. Updates and communicates with managers regarding quarterly training
    3. Assists HR department with ongoing training initiatives
  4. Administrative
    1. Answer multi-line phone system and transfer caller to the appropriate person
    2. Greet walk-in patients and direct them to the appropriate location in the building
    3. Track building maintenance issues and communicates with the property manager
  5. Miscellaneous
    1. Updates job knowledge and personal development by keeping up to date on human resource trends and issues through attending local human resources chapter meetings
  6. Special Projects
    1. Manages multiple projects with various deadlines assigned by the Human Resources Manager and other Executives
