JOB SUMMARY

This position is responsible for overseeing the daily financial resources of Dairyland Laboratories. This will include direct responsibility for daily accounts receivable/payable, assisting with payroll, purchasing supplies, and issuing purchase orders. The Financial Associate will assist the Controller in forecasting financial needs and resources as needed.

Flexible work schedule: 30-40 hours per week

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process all Accounts Payable
  • Manage Accounts Receivable
    • Process invoices
    • Apply payments
    • Answer customer questions
    • Recover Aged AR
  • Purchase Order Management
    • Code invoices
    • Match PO to Invoice
    • Process Payments
    • Reconcile credit cards
  • Manage postage accounts
  • Assist Controller in asset tracking
  • Track and Pay Taxes
    • Track Sales and Use Taxes
    • Property Taxes
  • Assist Treasurer and Controller in management of cashflow
  • Keeps records of contracts for purchased services
  • Other duties as assigned by Supervisor

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Associate's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience

LICENSES, CERTIFICATIONS, AUTHORIZATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Valid Driver's License
