Halco Lighting Technologies, one of the fastest growing lighting suppliers in the US, is seeking a hands-on Warehouse lead for its Cleveland facility.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing all Warehouse operations.
  • Oversee and coordinate all receiving functions.
  • Participate and lead the picking and packing of outbound shipments
  • Verify that all outbound shipments are the correct product and quantity.
  • Oversee and coordinate the loading of outbound shipments.
  • Participate in and conduct cycle counts as required. Participate in semi-annual physical inventories as required.
  • Maintain clean, neat and orderly work areas and aisles. Support corporate warehouse housekeeping program.
  • Support efforts to maintain the security of the facility.
  • Conduct operations in a manner, which promotes safety and are in accordance with OSHA. Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment. Maintain compliance with all safety rules.

Minimum Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED a must. Associate degree a plus
  • At least three years working as a lead in a warehouse facility a must - experience in a small warehouse a plus
  • Be able to use productivity measures to give input on associates performance
  • Certified to operate powered materials handling equipment.
  • Must possess valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Ability to work standing for extended time periods.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Good reading, writing and math skills.
  • Strong interpersonal relations skills.
  • Ability to read and comprehend customers’ orders, freight bills, bills of lading, reports, etc.
  • Knowledge of and ability to utilize computer software systems
