Your Responsibilities as a Mechanic:
- Diagnose issues using Cummins Software, JPRO Software, ALLDATA Software and SNAP ON Software.
- Major and minor repairs to both diesel and gas equipment, to include but not limited to engine swaps, transmissions swaps, oil changes and fuel system maintenance.
- Going into the field to work on equipment.
- Work well with operators understanding the issue at hand.
- Coordinate broken equipment to be repaired while out of town with supervisor.
- Keep an inventory of consumable parts through NAPA PROLINK, Grainger and other venders.
- Keep the shop clean and in order.
- Keep your service truck clean and in order.
- Keep an inventory of janitorial supplies.
- Keep open communication with supervisor concerning repair status.
- Keep up to date service records on all equipment.
- Keeping personal time on an APP.
- Work with outside parts dealers.
- Maintain shop equipment.
What We Need from You (Our Requirements):
- ASE Certified Mechanic
- Reading electrical schematics and diagnosing electrical issues on equipment.
- Must have own tools
- Safety focused
- Welding and fabrication skills preferred.
- Knowledge of hydraulic systems preferred.
- CDL Preferred
- Possess a clean driving record over the last 3 years and successful completion of a pre-employment background check, including a physical and drug screen.
