Your Role and Impact

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Warehouse/Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting goods from our warehouse to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining the integrity of the products. This position requires excellent driving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.

 

Day to Day Responsibilities

  • Safely operate and maintain company vehicles, including vans and trucks, in accordance with all traffic laws and company policies.
  • Complete shipments by efficiently processing packing/unpacking and loading/unloading products from the warehouse onto the delivery vehicle, ensuring proper handling and securement of items.
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely manner, providing excellent customer service and representing the company in a professional manner.
  • Verify the accuracy of orders before delivery and obtain necessary signatures or documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with warehouse staff, supervisors, and customers to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance, including checking fluid levels, tire pressure, and reporting any mechanical issues to management.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and delivery vehicle.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Warehouse duties as assigned
  • Other related duties assigned by Management

 

Your Profile

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Previous experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
  • Previous Warehouse Experience.
  • Two man driver team (driver or helper responsibility)
  • Strong knowledge of safe driving practices and traffic laws.
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks associated with loading and unloading goods.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in order verification and documentation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems.
  • Familiarity with local roads and neighborhoods.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision, producing adequate volumes of quality work.

Work Environment & Requirements

  • Office Presence: Full-time in office, 5 days per week (company-provided uniform will be the required attire when delivering to customers.)
  • Environment: Works in a large, open, well-ventilated warehouse. May be subject to some variations in temperature, normally not to the extreme.
  • Physical Effort: Work requires infrequent physical demands
  • Hazards: Negligible, little or no exposure to hazards
