Stellar is seeking a Superintendent to be responsible for supervising and leading field operations for electrical installations on new construction and/or expansion projects. You will plan, schedule, and oversee the execution of the entire electrical scope to meet and exceed the clients’ requirements, standards, and expectations.

  • Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code, local codes, and standard construction and electrical safety requirements
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate teams of field foreman, electricians, journeyman, apprentices, and other field staff
  • Monitor field productivity and efficiently plan manpower levels to meet deadlines
  • Deep understanding of power distribution installations, cable tray systems, motor control centers, general power and lighting, and a basic understanding of electrical and low voltage control wiring
  • Examine construction documents and plans to provide technical guidance regarding the electrical system installation means and methods and efficient installation techniques
  • Oversee all aspects of electrical project planning, execution, and completion of contracted scope of work on new construction and expansion projects
  • Proficient in scheduling electrical activities within the project schedule requirements
  • Lay out project work and ensure that material, tools, information, and equipment are there when needed
  • Excellent communication skills between Management and Field staff

Qualifications

  • 5+ years as Electrical Superintendent or lead foreman
  • Experience being the lead Superintendent on food & beverage and/or industrial/commercial projects ($3M+)
  • Proficient with technology such as Bluebeam, Procore, and other construction system platforms
  • Food and Beverage construction industry related experience
  • New Construction experience
  • Preferred but NOT required:
    • Journeyman or Master Electrician license
    • Experience with process power/controls and instrumentation
    • Experience with refrigeration power/controls and instrumentation
