Summary:
DRT Strategies is looking for an HR Generalist to join a growing organization in the Arlington, VA area The HR Generalist will be an integral part of the HR team and will support HR operations. The ideal candidate for this position is excited to contribute to the success of the company by ensuring operational excellence.

What you will do:
  • New hire processing, internal status changes, and offboarding process
  • Execute New Hire Orientation
  • Maintain electronic HR files
  • HRIS administration and data calls
  • Benefits administration
  • Assist with the management of Open Enrollment
  • Assist with coordinating IT Assets
  • Respond to employment verifications and unemployment claims
  • Oversee the HR inbox, HR tracker and payroll tracker
  • Assist with managing relationships with vendors, identify potential vendors and partners to improve operational processes and workflows
  • Assist with the annual performance review and goals process
  • Assist with the annual 401K audit  and 401k deposits
  • Administer loyalty bonuses/anniversaries and manage bonusly administration
  • Support leave administration such as parental leave, STD/LTD, FMLA, LWOP, etc.
  • Be an advocate of DRT’s mission by helping to foster a positive work culture and environment
  • Other duties or special projects as assigned
To be successful, you should have:
  • Strong professional ethics and sensitivity with confidential information
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills; strong verbal and written communication skills; superior organizational skills
  • Good understanding of Federal, State and District employment laws and regulations
  • Agility and ability to multitask with competing priorities
  • 3+ years of human resources experience and desire to grow
  • Team player
  • Government Contracting experience required
  • This position will be Hybrid and require 3 days onsite
Education:
  • A bachelor’s degree in a related field

Currently due to the remote working status of the federal government, most DRT employees are teleworking from home and leveraging video conferencing along with other virtual productivity tools. Under normal circumstances, most of our positions are required to report onsite. However, DRT has not yet determined when employees will be required to return to their onsite workspaces. Please be aware that at the time a date is determined to return to the worksite, the requirement of this position may be to report in person to the work location.
