As a Public Relations Assistant at TMZ Events, you will play a vital role in shaping and maintaining our company's image and reputation. You will work closely with the Public Relations Manager to develop and execute strategic PR campaigns that enhance brand visibility and engage our target audience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development and implementation of PR strategies and campaigns to promote TMZ Events and its clients.
  • Draft press releases, media pitches, and other written materials to communicate key messages to the media and the public.
  • Build and maintain relationships with members of the media, influencers, and industry professionals.
  • Monitor media coverage and social media conversations related to TMZ Events and its clients.
  • Assist with the coordination of press events, interviews, and other PR activities.
  • Support the management of media inquiries and interview requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Conduct research to identify media opportunities, industry trends, and competitive insights.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
  • Previous experience in public relations, communications, or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with media monitoring tools and social media platforms.
