Job Summary:

The Marketing Lead will oversee all aspects of digital, print, and multimedia materials across various channels, ensuring key messaging consistency and brand standards. This role will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with partner communication and commercial teams to coordinate messaging and support sales activities. The Marketing Lead works closely with the Brand Manager to align strategies and achieve mutual goals. Additionally, the Marketing Lead will oversee the budget for the brand's related marketing activities.


Duties/Responsibilities:

Planning & Strategy

  • Understand and nurture strategic differentiation of the brand ensuring appropriate positioning and messaging.
  • Create and execute annual marketing plan for the brand.
  • Develop and track budget that supports activities outlined in the annual plan.
  • Coordinate with outside marketing agencies to carry out marketing/communications activities as necessary.
  • Ensure brand identity continuity of communication and vehicles and materials.
  • Research market trends to identify growth opportunities.

Digital Marketing

  • Collaborate with brand manager, internal teams, clients, and partners to develop and execute digital marketing strategy, focusing on increasing brand awareness and strength.
  • Provide reporting, analytics, and insights to enhance our digital marketing performance while identifying opportunities for continued growth.
  • Plan and maintain our brands' social media presence on various platforms in accordance with best practices.
  • Maintain and strengthen brand website, using SEO and content marketing best practices.

Supporting Activities

  • Collaborate with partner commercial/sales department to coordinate the development, production, and delivery of promotional materials while maintaining brand identity.
  • Assist brand manager and others with event planning and execution; develop metrics to track and measure success.
  • Ensure that all internal teams working with customers maintain correct brand representation.
  • Assist internal teams to ensure development and timewise delivery of marketing materials.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously while working under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications, advertising or related field.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and demonstrated experience in planning and executing practical marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Knowledge of soybean farming/farming practices is preferred.
  • Experience planning and executing market research is preferred.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

Physical Requirements:

  • Occasional travel is expected.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
