How will you make an impact?
  • The Quality Technician will perform various duties relating to maintaining the data integrity of the PLM system.
  • This employee will review data for consistency. The role will report to the Quality Manager.
What will you do?
  • Review data from one PLM system matches data in another PLM system.
  • Organize files in the cloud so the documents are easy to find.
  • Open pdf files and extract data to place into an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Supports other departments as needed.
Required Experience Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
  • HS Diploma required.
  • Attention to detail: Reviewing data for consistency requires a keen eye for detail to identify any discrepancies or errors.
  • Analytical skills: The ability to analyze data and spot patterns or trends is essential for ensuring consistency and accuracy in data review.
  • Organizational skills: Organizing and categorizing data effectively is important for maintaining consistency and clarity.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Computer Systems: Knowledge of Excel functions and formulas is necessary for pulling data from a PDF and accurately entering it into a spreadsheet.
  • Data entry skills: Accurate and efficient data entry skills are crucial for transferring information from a PDF into an Excel spreadsheet without errors.
  • Time management: The ability to work efficiently and prioritize tasks is important for completing data review and entry promptly.
  • Communication skills: Clear communication with team members or supervisors about any discrepancies or issues with the data is essential for ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Perform related duties as may be assigned from time to time.
Physical/Environmental requirements:
  • Ergonomic workstation: Ensure your workstation is set up ergonomically to prevent strain or discomfort. This includes having a comfortable chair, proper lighting, and a monitor positioned at eye level.
  • Proper posture: Maintain good posture while sitting at your desk to prevent back and neck strain.
  • Breaks: Take regular breaks to rest your eyes and stretch your muscles to prevent eye strain and fatigue.
  • Adequate lighting: Ensure your workspace is well-lit to reduce eye strain and make it easier to read and enter data accurately.
  • Comfortable equipment: Use a keyboard and mouse that are comfortable to use and do not cause strain on your hands or wrists.
