Position Overview: As a Senior Quantitative Analyst, you'll play a key role in conducting advanced quantitative analysis, developing models, and providing strategic recommendations to stakeholders. You'll leverage your expertise in statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and programming skills to drive business impact and inform decision-making. If you're a seasoned analyst with a passion for quantitative analysis and a proven track record of delivering impactful insights, we want you on our team.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Quantitative Analysis: Conduct advanced quantitative analysis to derive insights from large and complex datasets, using statistical techniques, mathematical models, and machine learning algorithms.
  2. Model Development: Develop and implement predictive models, forecasting models, and optimization models to support business decision-making, using techniques such as regression analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning.
  3. Statistical Modeling: Apply statistical techniques such as hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and factor analysis to analyze data and derive actionable insights.
  4. Programming: Utilize programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB to perform data analysis, develop models, and automate processes.
  5. Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling visualizations to communicate analysis results and insights to stakeholders, using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or matplotlib.
  6. Risk Assessment: Conduct risk assessments and scenario analysis to evaluate potential risks and opportunities, and develop strategies to mitigate risks and maximize returns.
  7. Performance Monitoring: Implement tracking and monitoring mechanisms to assess the performance and impact of quantitative analysis initiatives, proactively identifying opportunities for improvement.
  8. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including business stakeholders, data engineers, and software developers, to understand requirements and deliver quantitative analysis solutions that meet business needs.
  9. Documentation and Reporting: Document analysis methodologies, findings, and recommendations in clear and concise reports, ensuring transparency and reproducibility of results.
  10. Mentorship and Development: Mentor and coach junior analysts, providing guidance, support, and opportunities for skill development and career growth, and foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Master's or Ph.D. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in quantitative analysis, with a focus on statistical analysis, modeling techniques, and programming.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis software such as SAS, SPSS, or Stata, and programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, with experience in hypothesis testing, regression analysis, time series analysis, and machine learning.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to analyze complex datasets and derive actionable insights.
