This person is an experienced technical writer capable of independently developing operator and service manuals for medical domain:
- Develops complete operator and service manuals.
- Develops and maintains standard templates to be used in the manuals.
- Develops technical training packages to be used by the Product Support staff.
- Creates product Technical and Safety Bulletins
- Hands on experience in using XML authoring tools (Oxygen XML tool).
- Should have Knowledge on DITA and CMS
- Writes safe work instructions.
- Participates in the continuous improvement process.
- University Degree or College Diploma
- The ability to work under tight deadlines is a prerequisite.
- Experience with Epic Editor and Adobe Frame maker (or similar) is preferred.
- Create literature which is grammatically correct, concise and clearly conveys the required information to Dealer/Customer personnel.
- Ensure that the grammar, format and expression of all literature is consistent with Client standards.
- Use information from Client systems to ensure that the relevant literature is written and issued in a timely manner.
- Should have Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulic knowledge with an engineering degree or equivalent diploma.
- Exceptional communications skills both verbal and written along with strong analysis skills will assist with your success in this position.
- Working alongside other departments will create a team environment for this role.
- The candidate will need to demonstrate attention to detail, accuracy and a focus on safety and quality.
