VICE PRESIDENT OF ENTERPRISE SALES - EMPLOYEE BENEFITS/HEALTH PLANS (Must be licensed)

SUMMARY:

The Vice President of Enterprise Sales (VPES) is directly responsible for enterprise sales growth at Decisely. The VPES works in collaboration with the Marketing Team and the Inside Sales Team to drive revenue for Decisely by selling Health and Benefit Solutions to employers in their designated portfolio made up of assigned programs (Associations/Franchises).

The Vice President of Enterprise Sales is responsible for developing and executing on account specific plans for each component of their assigned portfolio. This should include but not be limited to:

  • Marketing and promotion requirements
  • Products and Carrier alignments
  • Identified Sales "engines" required to achieve outcomes - Personal Sales & Inside Sales
  • Sales projections and timing

The VPES is also responsible for working with the referring broker to produce these opportunities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Expert of enterprise sales within employee benefits industry and specifically with brokers, franchises and associations.
  • Reporting for the team for weekly, monthly and annual sales reports.
  • Coaching and teaching and team relationships with inside sales associates.
  • Knowledge of market, competition and competing ideas and solutions.
  • Knowledge and use of Decisely’s technology and solutions in creating solutions for customers.

KEY COMPETENCIES:

  • Knowledge of employee benefits brokers, employee benefits, franchises, associations and HR technology.
  • Financial background and understanding of financial underwriting concepts.
  • Advanced knowledge of navigating the internet as well as various other Microsoft Office programs to include but not limited to Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Publisher as well as other required systems to maintain and manage job responsibilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management abilities.
  • Strong ability to multi-task and assign priorities.
  • Must have a high level of interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal, to support team.
  • Position continually requires teamwork, demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy.
  • Must have 10 years of relevant experience.
  • Current relationships with brokers, franchises or association contacts.
  • High degree of experience in solution-based selling of outsourcing, employee benefits, solutions for HR technology solutions.

EDUCATION:

  • College degree required.
  • Experience in employee benefits or insurance preferred.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with a demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:

  • Appropriate State Life and Health licensure – required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Advanced professional designations welcomed
