Greater Cincinnati Behavioral Health Services (GCBHS) is a comprehensive integrated behavioral health care organization serving adults and children throughout Southwest Ohio and Northern Kentucky. We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Psychiatrist to treat adults as part of our highly experienced team based at our Madison Road office.

We are open to offering either a full or part-time schedule for the right candidate.

Position Description

  • Provides psychiatric evaluation and ongoing psychiatric care.
  • Provides information and education to staff, families, and patients on the course of illness and treatment.
  • Assesses patients for benefits of medical intervention and provides medication monitoring and assessment.
  • Provides accurate, timely documentation of assessment and care provided to GCBHS clients.
  • Collaborates with Psychiatric Advanced Nurse Practitioners

Position Requirements

  • Must be flexible, creative and adaptive in handling changing priorities
  • Must have knowledge and experience in psychopharmacology including long-acting injectibles
  • Ability to work as a team member in a collaborative manner
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and time management skills
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited school of medicine or osteopathy in the US
  • Have a valid DEA number
