Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Tax Associate-Private Wealth to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have an undergraduate in accounting, actively pursuing CPA, MST or JD/LLM and 2+ years' experience in tax return review and planning for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities:
- Perform complex individual, partnership, S-Corp, trust, estate, gift and state tax returns.
- Work on multiple engagements that deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including federal estate, gift, charitable planning and generation skipping tax.
- Build on technical competence by keeping up to date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations.
- Learn and grow from direct and on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs.
- Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients.
- Support the growth and development of team members through company provided tools.
- Enjoy friendships, social activities and team outings that encourage a work-life balance.
Qualifications:
- An undergraduate degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Actively pursuing a CPA, MST or JD/LLM preferred
- Two (2) + year(s) experience in tax return review and planning for wealthy individuals, family members and their trusts, investment entities, and private businesses.
- An interest to assist affluent families and individuals enhance and preserve their wealth.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S., without sponsorship, highly preferred.
