  • Develop a risk-based cybersecurity program that meets regulatory requirements and aligns with industry-leading information security practices.
  • Conduct threat identification and mitigation activities using industry-leading security controls and toolsets.
  • Advance company's cyber threat and vulnerability management program to ensure consistent identification, analysis, response, and monitoring of cybersecurity threats, events, and vulnerabilities.
  • Assess threats to the business and deploy appropriate countermeasures.
  • Collaborate with business units, application development teams, and third-party vendors to achieve program requirements while enabling business operations.
  • Apply technical knowledge to protect the company against cyber threats, including the implementation and operational use of GRC (Governance Risk and Compliance) toolsets.
  • Facilitate cross-team coordination to achieve defined security goals and meet technical requirements for security projects.
  • Manage security projects to ensure timely, budget-conscious, and effective implementation of cybersecurity improvements, with validation methods in place to measure effectiveness.
  • Perform assessment of cybersecurity incidents to identify root causes, respond, and recover the environment.
  • Develop strategies, policies, and standards to protect company information and technology assets.
  • Manage capital and operational expense budgets to ensure accurate forecasting and administration.
About the Sr. Cybersecurity Specialist:The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience
  • Demonstrated experience in vendor risk management is required
  • Expertise in implementing industry standards such as ISO 27001/2, SOC 2, HITRUST, FedRAMP Information Security standard, and ISO 22301 Business Continuity Standard.
  • Experience with implementation and operational use of Archer GRC tool sets (Governance Risk and Compliance).
  • CISSP certification (or similar) is required.
  • Knowledge of national and international regulatory compliances and frameworks such as ISO, SOX, BASEL II, EU DPD, HIPAA, and PCI DSS.
