Technician installs, tests, calibrates and repairs electromechanical / electronic measuring

OTHER

  • Perform laboratory testing activities in accordance with standard procedures, test requirements and the ISO 17025 standard
  • Perform scheduled instrument verification checks and periodic facility maintenance
  • Set up and operate complex laboratory equipment and instruments
  • Identify and report nonconformities and abnormal testing conditions
  • Ensure standards, policies, procedures, and maintenance of a clean work area
  • Maintain working knowledge of EHS safety policies to ensure work performed in safe
  • Maintain effective communication with laboratory and project teams
  • Obtain fork truck training/license, scissor lift training / refrigerant handling certifications
  • Perform test unit setup according to lab procedures and test request
  • Create records of testing and document them according to laboratory procedures
  • Improve laboratory activities on a continuous basis
  • Implement corrective and preventative actions
  • Analyze, troubleshoot, and repair test units and facilities
