The Quality Support Specialist is responsible to assist, as directed, with the performance of assigned departmental responsibilities. Departmental responsibilities may include compliance with hospital accreditation organization, operation of a facility and department specific quality assessment and performance improvement program. Other department responsibilities include but not limited to CMS Quality Initiatives and patient survey programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and experience:

  • Undergraduate degree in health or business -related field required.
  • Two or more years of experience in a health-related desirable.

Licensure, registration and certification:

  • RN or LPN license preferred.
