Human Resources Administrative Assistant

Pay: $23.00 - $28.00

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Full Time, with possible overtime during busy seasons

As a key member of their vibrant community of over 5,000 employees worldwide, you'll play a crucial role in maintaining our collaborative culture and operational excellence.

Contractor Benefits:

Position Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment:
    • Schedule interviews and manage the interview process.
    • Assemble interview packets and deliver to interviewers.
    • Collect interview results and communicate to EG.
  • Onboarding:
    • Coordinate onboarding activities, including background checks and orientation.
    • Pre-register new hires for physical and drug test.
    • Prepare orientation materials for new hires.
  • Payroll/HRIS Administration:
    • Manage all employee data input into PayCor and ensure timely payroll processing.
    • Research and resolve HRIS problems, perform scheduled activities, and recommend solutions.
    • Verify non-exempt production employees' timecards biweekly.
  • Administrative:
    • Code HR’s company credit card charges to correct cost center and GL.
    • Maintain physical bulletin board postings for employees.
    • Assist with employee events, such as conducting research and making flyers.

Job Requirements:

  • Experienced: Preferably with 2 years in HR support; a degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field is a plus.
  • Skilled Communicator: Adept at engaging a diverse workforce, reflecting tesa tape's values.
  • Knowledgeable: With an intermediate understanding of labor laws, HR best practices, and a commitment to ethical standards.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in HRIS (including Paycor) and MS Office, possessing strong organizational skills
  • Approachable & Flexible: Capable of supporting and guiding employees and adapting to various tasks.
  • Additional Requirement: Willingness to work on the factory floor, interacting with staff and supervisors as needed.
