In this role, you will interact directly with our customers to answer questions, solve problems, provide education, enroll, and renew policies and maintain our companys reputation for high-quality service. You will need to be open to grow and learn quickly.


An insurance license will be required for this position, therefore successfully passing a background check will be a condition of employment. On-the-job training for your role is also included.

Responsibilities
  • Promptly respond to all customer questions
  • Process policy enrollment and renewals
  • Utilize company policies and procedures to document important information and record notes of all customer contact in company database
  • Suggest insurance solutions to meet the customers specific needs
  • Follow company procedures for helping with customer inquiries and policies
  • Follow communication guidelines and policies
  • Foster and maintain relationships with customers
  • Go the extra mile to assist coworkers

Requirements
  • Hold or be able to obtain a California Department of Insurance Life and Health Insurance License.
  • Have Insurance experience.
  • Medicare Insurance knowledge is a plus.
  • 3 or more year(s) of experience in customer service
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, well organized and ability to prioritize work
  • Positive and service-oriented attitude
  • Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Programs
  • Excellent phone disposition
  • Ability to work with minimal direction
  • Spanish speaking a plus but not a requirement
