Responsibilities
- Promptly respond to all customer questions
- Process policy enrollment and renewals
- Utilize company policies and procedures to document important information and record notes of all customer contact in company database
- Suggest insurance solutions to meet the customers specific needs
- Follow company procedures for helping with customer inquiries and policies
- Follow communication guidelines and policies
- Foster and maintain relationships with customers
- Go the extra mile to assist coworkers
Requirements
- Hold or be able to obtain a California Department of Insurance Life and Health Insurance License.
- Have Insurance experience.
- Medicare Insurance knowledge is a plus.
- 3 or more year(s) of experience in customer service
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented, well organized and ability to prioritize work
- Positive and service-oriented attitude
- Comfortable with Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office Programs
- Excellent phone disposition
- Ability to work with minimal direction
- Spanish speaking a plus but not a requirement
