The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability to be successful.DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES (include but are not limited to the following) Prepare patients for examination and treatment Complete all necessary documentation in patients' medical records in accordance with the clinic's charting policy Maintain and utilize effective communication with patients, coworkers and visitors Demonstrate responsibility for professionalism growth and development Actively participate in continuous quality improvements, staff meetings, and education programs Places orders under the supervision of a provider Perform and assist with various aspects of patient care such as administering medication under general supervision, providing instructions to patients, performing basic lab procedures as instructed, and assisting with medical procedures as appropriate Maintain a clean, orderly and safe environment for patients and visitors Clean, sterilize, and store instruments in accordance with clinic policies Restock and prepare the medical suites for patient examination Reorder supplies when needed Respond to patient and family needs Maintain high standards of confidentiality relating to patient information Complete required continuous training and education Comply with personal protective equipment requirements Comply with bloodborne pathogens procedures Screen telephone calls and take message from callers Initiate proper action in response to problems Provide information about services available Schedule appointments Call patients to confirm and reschedule appointments Organization of Office and Lab Display and promote company values Regular attendance Other duties as assignedSKILLS AND ABILITIESAbility to effectively communicate
