We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented IT Service Desk Specialist to support our US Courts client.

Duties and responsibilities include:

The IT Service Desk Specialist - Access Services is a pivotal team member responsible for providing comprehensive support in IT service onboarding projects, strategic requirements, and service improvements, with a focus on Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Azure Active Directory where appropriate. Operating within the framework of industry best practices and the customer's IT Project Management Framework, the Specialist actively contributes to integration, scope, time, cost, communications, risk, and stakeholder management activities. This includes executing project charters, managing schedules, estimating costs, implementing communication plans, and addressing risks, with a particular emphasis on AD DS or Azure Active Directory integration. The role involves collaborating with diverse stakeholders, ensuring project adherence to constraints, and supporting the timely closure of projects while aligning with Microsoft technologies. The IT Service Desk Specialist - Access Services plays a crucial role in contributing to the overall success of the Onboarding Services Team by efficiently managing tasks through project lifecycle phases and achieving organizational goals, with a specific focus on access services related to Microsoft Active Directory solutions.

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of IT Service Desk experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS) or Azure Active Directory required
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • ServiceNow and Microsoft Azure training/certifications desired
  • ITILv4 certification desired.

Clearance Requirement: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust.

*This position is contingent on contract award to Gunnison Consulting.
