Job Summary:

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Alogent, you will play a crucial role in driving our growth strategy by generating and qualifying leads and developing new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying potential clients, initiating contact, and nurturing relationships to build a strong pipeline of qualified prospects.

This position is hybrid working (2-3 days in office required) from our Peachtree Corners, GA headquarters.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Lead Generation: Identify and research potential clients through various channels, including social media, industry events, and outbound calling.
  • Qualify Leads: Engage with potential clients to understand their needs, qualify their interest, and determine their fit with Alogent’s solutions.
  • Outbound Prospecting: Conduct outreach via phone, email, and social media to establish initial contact and set up meetings for the sales team.
  • Pipeline Management: Maintain accurate records of all interactions and progress with leads in the CRM system.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment on lead generation strategies and messaging.
  • Market Research: Stay up to date with industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify new business opportunities.
  • Follow-up: Consistently follow up with leads to move them through the sales funnel and ensure a seamless handoff to the sales team.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years previous experience in a BDR, sales, or similar role, preferably within the financial software or technology industry.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage and build rapport with potential clients.
  • Sales Acumen: Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding lead generation targets.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and familiarity with lead generation tools and techniques.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
