Position Summary: This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the clinic in a sanitary, safe and attractive condition to meet OSHA standards.

Essential Job Functions: 

• Cleans and disinfects clinic and office areas using proper cleaning procedures.
• Uses cleaning chemicals properly according to OSHA standards.
• Understands procedures and properly disposes of infectious waste and trash.
• Handles and cleans up emergency spills per department guidelines as well as to OSHA standards.
• Operates and maintains assigned equipment according to established procedures
• Maintains work and storage areas following established policy and procedures to ensure safety.
• Uses supplies appropriately and effectively.
• Reports problems with equipment and clinic in an appropriate and timely manner.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be 18
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively including:
  • Read color coded labels and chemicals
  • Ability to follow written and verbal directions

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional housekeeping experience
• Housekeeping experience in a healthcare setting
• Customer service experience

Hours:

• Monday- Friday 12-14 hours each week.
