Key Responsibilities:
  • Support expense tracking for all departments (engineering, IT, security, facilities, business development, other).
  • Processing purchase requisitions into SAP By Design, collaborating as needed with counterparts in accounts payable & payments (outsourced function) to support timely and accurate processing of transactions
  • Conduct supporting analysis as critical input into monthly reconciliation of bank statements with purchase orders, approved budgets and customer invoices.
  • Preparing management reporting on engineering time and expense data from tools such as Insperity and Certify for management approval and customer invoice generation.
  • Preparing reports from above inputs using established MS-Excel templates for manager review and use in managing the business
  • Assist in testing and adoption of new SAP By Design functionality (such as Procurement, Opportunity-to-Cash, Supply Chain and other) through participation in collaborative work-sessions to support our growing and evolving business operation.
  • Provide administrative support to sales business development leadership through-out lead generation, proposal development, sales booking, and other sales lifecycle processes.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Associate degree or higher with coursework in business, accounting, and economics
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS Outlook/365.
  • Demonstrated quantitative skills, capable of deriving insights from data.
  • Proficient in qualitative skills, effective in written and verbal communication.
  • Adaptive communication style, adept at interacting with diverse stakeholders across various business functions.
  • Ability to quickly learn new systems such as SAP with guidance from leadership.
  • Clearance: This position requires a US government security clearance. As such, US citizenship is required.
Work Environment: The work environment for this role is dynamic as it blends aspects of sales operations, finance and customer support. This person will collaborate closely with the sales team and sales operations finance department. Activities include data entry, analyzing sales data, generating reports from multiple systems, providing financial support and insights to sales strategy, and assisting with sales forecasting and budgeting processes. This person should be comfortable multitasking, communicating effectively with different teams and adapting to change as our business grows.
