S2Technologies is currently looking for qualified candidates to join our team as a Mission Planning Support Engineer - Senior at Hunter Army Airfield, GA. We are currently looking for candidates who have training and experience performing troubleshooting of the Mission Planning Environment and hardware with the ability to explain solutions to users. The qualified candidate shall perform the following tasks:

Responsibilities:

  • Provides user support for numerous devices and maintains updated software/hardware configurations.
  • Trains users on mission planning and execution of software applications.
  • Maintains network servers and client computers with current imagery.
  • Provides local and remote support for IT systems and the software associated with these systems.
  • Conducts network-centric system administration of user systems.
  • Provides intuitive solutions for ever changing user support requests.
  • Integrates enterprise communications architecture with tactical networking devices.
  • Assists with proposal development, if necessary.
  • Performs other duties, as assigned.

Experience:

  • Detailed knowledge of ARSOAC operations and tactics required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years, within the last eight (8) years, operational experience with/or supporting ARSOAC required.
  • Minimum of five (5) years operational experience with or supporting navigation and mission planning techniques including preparation and check out of flight plans for aircraft weapons systems required.
  • Familiarity with the assigned component's tactical Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and mission guides required.
  • In-depth knowledge of the SOF aviation organizational structures, intelligence structures, functions, and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities required.
  • Operational experience with navigation and/or mission planning techniques including preparation and validation of planning products and outputs required.
  • Familiarity with the wide range of ARSOAC weapon systems identified and possess in-depth, first-hand mission planning skills and knowledge related to the ARSOAC deployment environments required.
  • Has a working knowledge in the following areas/programs required:
    • Portable Flight Planning Software (PFPS) andARSOAC platform (aircraft, etc.) interface software(i.e. aircraft/weapons/electronics (A/W/E) interface)
    • ARSOAC Performance Planning Card (PPC) capability
    • Execution Planner (XPlan)
    • Visual Display of Aircraft Performance (VDAP)
    • Airborne Mission Networking (AbMN)/Android Tactical Assault Kit (ATAK)
    • Windows Tactical Assault Kit (WINTAK)
  • Maintains a high level of training proficiency and excellence. Training excellence will be equated to the ability to impart skills to the ARSOAC warfighter through the use of mission scenarios, whereby the ARSOAC user realizes the benefits of the mission planning and execution capabilities.
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the SOF aviation organizational structures, intelligence structures, functions, and procedures, as well as command relationships and responsibilities.
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
  • Has a detailed working knowledge of processes and procedures for using automated tools to plan, support, and execute Special Operations roles for mission planning.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or other related discipline required. Technical School Certificate related to computer systems or experience/military training will be considered in lieu of a degree.

Certifications:

A+ CE, CCNA - Security, Network+, or SSCP

Security Clearance:

  • Secret clearance is required with the ability to obtain Top Secret.

Other Position requirements:


  • Must be able to effectively communicate with customers and fulfill all duties and responsibilities as listed in the contract.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office suite including, but not limited to: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Possesses the ability to develop processes and techniques which enhance the mission planning environment and reduces the workload for other ARSOAC mission planning support Contractors required.
  • Must be US Citizen
